Wilson Martínez concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate business law (mergers, acquisitions and other corporate reorganizations), business transactions, fiduciary business (public and private), real estate and construction law, strategic estate planning, and public-private alliances for the development of infrastructure. As part of his experience, he has been a member of the official Commission for the drafting of Law No. 47-20 on Public-Private Partnerships and its implementing regulations, as well as of the Commission in charge of the implementation of the General Directorate of Public-Private Partnerships. In addition, he has participated in the drafting and review of other important laws of the Dominican Republic, such as Law No. 189-11, for the Development of the Mortgage and Trust Market; Law No. 45-20 on Secured Transactions, among others.

EDUCATION

He obtained a law degree (Summa Cum Laude) from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), Santo Domingo, and a master's degree in Corporate Business Law from the same institution. He is a certified specialist in Prevention of Money Laundering and Against the Financing of Terrorism, a certification endorsed by the Association of Certified Financial Crime Specialists (ACFCS). He also completed the program on Procurement of Complex Public-Private Partnership Projects, sponsored by the European Union, the General Directorate of Public Procurement of the Dominican Republic and the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC).
